Some good catches of Shark this July onboard Charlie Boy with Opportunity Charters

Opportunity Charters Shark Fishing July 2026

Opportunity Charters took out a lovely bunch out Shark Fishing in the beautifuly July 2026 weather. The day started off a bit murky with a fresh South Westerly Breeze, but they soon started biting! Father and Son and their good friend managed to get 9 sharks to the boat out of the 13 takes.  Bringing these magnificent creatures to the boat is an unforgettable experience with the fight they display. Knowing they are captured by photograph rather than by kill, only adds to our respect for the Sharks and our committment to sustainable fishing ecological experiences.

Out of the blue we also had a triple hook up, with all sharks safety managed, all to the boat one at a time. All released to swom and btie another day!

The biggest shark caught by Opportunity Charters that day was around 90lbs and all caught on Mustad inline barbless circle hooks and rigs from Wally’s. All safely released to fight another day. 💪💪🦈
